Social Studies for Elementary: North & South

The north and the south are opposite, and sometimes in places other than the compass. If you're a teacher, you might be interested in this vintage-looking template featuring illustrations of several roses of the winds. You can modify it to start with a definition of these two cardinal directions, and then steer your lesson into an actual case in history—for example, the American Civil War, in which the North fought against the South.
