Water Quality FVM (Budapest, HU) custom integration for Home Assistant

This custom component integrates water quality information provided by Budapest Water Company (FVM - Fővárosi Vízművek).

The state of the sensor will be the number of monitored items above their threshold. Thresholds are defined on the FVM vízminőség, vízkeménység page (see below).

Water hardness value is listed with other monitored elements, while the human readable water hardness string is listed as a standalone attribute.

Installation

The easiest way to install it is through HACS (Home Assistant Community Store), search for Water Quality FVM in the Integrations.

Configuration:

Define sensor with the following configuration parameters:

Name Optional Default Description
name Y water_quality_fvm name of the sensor
region Y Budapest - I. kerület region string (see below)

Region should match the location specified at FVM vízminőség, keménység.

Example of water quality information:

How to add all values to HA?

Hi! First of all thank you for this custom component. I have set it up in my HA and it extracts the data for my region (Budaörs). How can I add all these sensor values easily to my HA? If I add the sensor to an entity or sensor card it shows only one value.

Can you post a template which extracts all the values nicely in a card? Eventually can I have the values color sensitive depending on their status: below/above or inside/outside limits?

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello amaximus,

just realized that the sensor of the water quality is gone missing. Maybe because the site https://www.vizmuvek.hu/hu/fovarosi-vizmuvek/lakossagi-ugyfelek/altalanos_informaciok/vizminoseg_vizkemenyseg has a 404 Error? Could you look into that if you have the time?

    Thank you!!!
