PE Subject for Middle School: Let's Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day!

We are slowly getting there. In certain countries and sports, salaries are now equal between female and male athletes. Celebrated in the USA during the first week of February, National Girls and Women in Sports Day is held to recognize the effort and accomplishments of female athletes and sportswomen. A nice addition to the PE curriculum, too! We have a template for that week, which you can edit to your liking, including bits of history or how equality has been gaining traction in recent years. The frames and some of the elements on each slide alternate between yellow, red, and blue, so the result is a colorful composition with illustrations!
