Haiti Independence Day

January 1st is not only New Year's Day on Haiti, but also their Independence Day, proclaimed on this date in 1804. It's the first American nation (excepting USA) that gained independence, and this prompted other nations to follow suit. Use our template to explain a bit of history of Haiti, including the events that lead to the Haitian Revolution. It contains lots of illustrations of leaves, confetti and some banners in blue and red, the colors of the Haitian flag. In fact, these two colors are the main ones for the elements used across the entire presentation!
